Aged care
Staff research work and interests focus primarily on palliative care and quality of life issues for elderly residents of aged care facilities. One research project is investigating the residential aged care nurses’ and carers’ knowledge of palliative care. A project being developed will investigate registered nurses’ perceptions of spiritualty and their spiritual caring of elderly people living in residential aged care facilities.
