Clinical Placements

SONIA Placement System

The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery uses an interactive database called SONIA to manage clinical placements for its students. SONIA allows students to view their clinical placement times and the sites at which the placements are held. As appropriate, students can also use SONIA to enter their sites preferences ahead of placements being finalised.


Login to SONIA

• Clicking the link above will bring up the USYD Java login screen where you should enter your university Unikey username and password.
• This will take you to the SONIA Noticeboard page which contains important notices from the Clinical Education Office. From there, you can find instructions on how to use SONIA.
