Study Abroad Program
The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sydney offers excellent opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate international students who wish to undertake clinical experience and/or theoretical units of study.
Clinical Experience Units of Study
A range of clinical experience units of study are available and where possible, clinical experience is tailored to meet the student’s clinical requirements and/or the requirements of their educational institution.
These units of study provide students with supported supernumerary clinical learning opportunities in their chosen area of nursing practice. The units have been designed to facilitate students’ integration of theoretical studies with clinical experience in different practice settings as well as provide opportunities to experience nursing in a different professional and cultural environment. Study Abroad students undertaking clinical experience units also have the advantage of working alongside University of Sydney nursing students in their clinical rotations.
Theoretical Units of Study
The study Abroad program allows you to complete a semester or a year of your course at the University of Sydney. The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery offers postgraduate Study Abroad students the opportunity to enrol in units of study offered in our graduate entry program and a range of postgraduate clinical specialties courses.

Fees

Visa Requirements
Non-Australian residents are required to obtain a visa to study in Australia. There are various visa categories depending on what you are studying and the length of the course.
